Off the Grid has their unique twist on an Artist in Residence Program. Every month, they invite a different artist to come into their offices and interpret the Off the Grid logo in their unique style. Their artwork goes on a t-shirt and other swag for sale. At the Fort Mason Center market, the artist makes at least two guest appearances at the Off The Grid merchandise tent which is close to the entrance. Some of them also display some of their other work.
During this 2014 season, Sirron Norris, Roman Muradov, Chris Shearer and Nick Sirotich have participated in their artist in residence program.
Current Month
During the month of July Jeremy Fish is the artist. We went to Fort Mason to catch up with him. He went the extra mile and brought his own van that was outfitted with a his illustrations on pillows and other paraphernalia. If you are not aware Jeremy Fish just published a book titled Happily ever After. The book was there for viewing and purchase. You can also see it on his website.
