Juana Alicia is a muralist, printmaker, activist, educator who is a faculty member at Berkeley City College. She has painted a number of murals around the bay area since the late 1980′s. Her most well known is the Blue mural LA LLORONA’S SACRED WATERS on 24th at York in the San Francisco Mission District. She was one of several muralist who created the murals on the Woman’s Building on 18th St off Valencia. In 2012 she painted murals at El Centro Chicano on Stanford University campus.
