I'm from Milan Italy and i moved to San Francisco two years ago.
I'm attending the Academy of Art University measuring in Fine Art painting.
I'm still trying to build up a personal style, but i know for sure that photography , especially black and white , really affects me and my painting technique.
I don't have a favorite media to work with, i can express my ideas in different ways. I do a lot of life studies on sketchbooks, like drawing on the muni every mourning on the way to classes.
As photography, i like to capture moments, actions, way of beeing of the human behaviour .
the moment, like at the time of Impressionism; which is also called peinture sur le motif ("painting on the moment") in French.
Talking more about modern inspiration artists like Francis bacon, Adrian Ghenie , Pollock, Rauchemberg inspired the way i paint.
I love the construction of layers in a picture, in a rough way, like i don't want to be afraid of constructing something and eventually destroyed right after it...it's part of the process.
