Back To The Picture goes POP!
Featuring 12 artists with work from bright, fun, and thought provoking images, extraordinarily unique sculpture, re-imagined photography, and more. Curated by Elliott C. Nathan.
Pop art exploded onto the cultural scene in the early 1960s as a new generation of artists rebelled against ‘high art’ to embrace the world of advertising, film stars, pop music and consumerism.
The works challenge the viewer to reexamine the meaning of imagery from everyday life.
Showing through May, “A POP SHOW” opens with a reception on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 7-10pm, and can be seen until May 29th
