This roll- up door is across the street from the Sirron Norris Disruption mural on Bryant and 20th St in San Francisco Mission District. There had been a long standing blue bear on this roll-up. This was painted shortly after the other mural. Many of the personalities in his murals are portrayed by animals that take on a human quality. He sprinkles people into his art as well.
In an interview Sirron Norris was asked about major influences:
Todd McFarlane, Quentin Tarantino, Ernie Barnes, Eyvind Earle, and Hanna-Barbera.
He just finished a piece of art for the Lucha Libre show opening this Saturday at Wonderland SF on Valencia at 24th St. Reception 6-10pm. Be there.
