In this talk, art curator and educator Michael Cuffe takes us behind the scenes his latest show Storybook: An Art Journey Through Childhood’s Best Remembered Stories presented by Modern Eden Gallery. He will explore the world of the children’s book illustrations, and how they have influenced a whole generation of artists to pursue careers in contemporary art. For those seeking advice on becoming an artist themselves, Cuffe will give his 10 comprehensive steps to building a career in art as well. Michael Cuffe is the founder of Warholian, a not-for-profit arts site dedicated to documenting the contemporary art world and it’s inhabitants since 2010.
