It looks like Light might have also painted these iconic dogs. The diner was a local fast food restaurant that closed down in the 1980′s. Although the first restaurant was on San Pablo in Oakland, there were more locations in San Francisco. You can still see the head mounted on a pole by the SF Zoo. We have seen three heads mounted on a cart around San Francisco. Wonder if that is why there are 3 heads here.
