The Silly Pink Bunny by Jeremy Fish that has graced the corner of Laguna and Haight in San Francisco for several years was demolished last week. The street art walls surrounding it will be removed as well to make way for a housing development that is already in progress.

All the wonderful art we enjoyed on this corner for the past few years was the result of the Haight Street Art Center working with the art community and UC Berkeley the owner of the site.

Due to the success of this project, the developer has agreed to work with the community for find a permanent home for a bronze bunny and the street art murals. The Haight Street Art Center has established a Kickstarter to raise $50,000 by November 2nd for this project. The Lower Haight Merchant and Neighborhood Association has already kicked in funds. They need your help to fully fund it.

Please read the short history about this street art location and bunny and support their cause.
