We cordially invite you to our Grand Opening on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 6pm.

Ribbon cutting by 34th generation Shaolin Monk Shi YanRan (founder/exec Director Shaolin Temple USA).

Our show will be focused on transformation and rebirth, embodied through the recent experiences of local artist Jin An Wong. On October 16, 2015, Wong’s Inner Richmond home and art studio burned down, along with much of his
work. Wong will be showing some works that were saved, as well as some burned works he has created. Wong has emerged from this tragic event resilient as ever. As he says, his new mantra is the words of Michael Meade:
“Imagination is the deepest power of the human soul and what the world needs now is more people awakening to the power of the imagination in their own soul.”

*Silent Auction*
The show also includes a fundraising auction of a special selection of epic rock photography by Robert M. Knight and Maryanne Bilham Knight. They have photographed some of the most legendary musicians in rock and roll. All
proceeds from the auction will go to Jin An Wong, to help him with his unexpected relocation.

*Music*
We are thrilled to be featuring Elise Lebec, one of the few visionaries among the female composers in today’s current independent music circuit. She excels in the “outside the manual” technique when it comes to sculpting compositions. Morphing the emotions of her concepts along with the intelligence of the music sheet, she allows the listener to embrace the meaning of the piece to a highly personal level mentally.

The final hours of the night will be to the tunes of jazz group The Lee Dynes Trio. Playing mostly Dynes original compositions, as well as arrangements of pop and jazz standards, the music is steeped in the heritage of jazz
improvisation. With musical influences ranging from rock to classical and pop, the trio strives for a tight-knit, cohesive sound that is an extension of the jazz tradition rather than a confirmation of it.
