A weekend of playful and provocative creative art and design. Beyond Open Studios… art will be sited in studios and unexpected spaces at Army Lofts. Beyond the Mission… featured artists include those who have moved on from the Mission – priced out and evicted culture creators – as well as other SF based artists. All happening noon-6pm, Saturday – Sunday, April 16-17th.

REGENERATION is curated by Julie Blankenship, presented by Made in the Mission and produced with help from Amanda Klimek and Visual Aid Projects. The exhibition will include interactive performance, site specific installations and videos as well as traditional open studio-style exhibition and sales of photography, painting and collage.

Bake sale by Ernie and Gabe. Activism by Insight Garden Program and Solarcity. Watch for a schedule of family events including puppet theater for kids by Brooke Wallace and The Rabbit Hole. See you there!
