MIRUS GALLERY TO HOST LOCAL II GROUP SHOW CELEBRATING BAY AREA ARTISTS
Mirus Gallery is excited to announce its newest show “LOCAL II: a group show,” including artists throughout the Bay Area to commemorate the reopening of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA). The gallery’s opening reception will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. on Friday, May 13 and the show will be on display through Saturday, June 25.
LOCAL II: a group show will highlight and celebrate the rejuvenated arts scene in the city in conjunction with the SFMOMA reopening on Saturday, May 14, and coincide with several other highly-anticipated gallery openings in the area.
The show will be co-curated by gallery director Jennifer A. Darland, alongside Paul Hemming. The two have brought together an eclectic mix of artists to demonstrate various art styles throughout the Bay Area with a focus on the artistic beat of the dynamic SOMA neighborhood.
