The Midway opened its doors on May 29th to two thousand guests excited to see this new Creative Complex in SF’s burgeoning Dogpatch neighborhood. Guests enjoyed a sneak peek into our music and performing arts space, our 3D audio workshop, our teaching kitchen and screening room and our 9-studio artist in residency program.
On July 9th we invite you back to celebrate a more intimate gathering focused on the exhibition Oddities. Please come enjoy a specialty cocktail, some conversation and a lot of wonderful artwork. Plus, be the first to see new additions to the show that have replaced the artwork sold on our opening night. Tours will be available of the complex by Art Director, Kelsey Issel.

Oddities: A Show to Celebrate & Inspire the Strange
Weird, wildly wonderful, crazy-beautiful, unusually eccentric, eerily elegant, freakishly phantasmagorical, fabulous, fantastical, and so much more. “Oddities: A Show to Celebrate the Strange” features artists from New York, Philadelphia, Montreal, Los Angeles, Oakland and, of course, San Francisco. Curated by Kelsey Marie Issel, Art Director of the Midway Creative Complex (Artbeats, Fountain Art Fair), Elizabeth Tully (Director, Fountain Art Fair), Lauren Napolitano (Asst Director, White Walls/ Shooting Gallery) and Varnish Fine Art.
