The Ian Ross Gallery invites you to the public opening preview of “Chaos/Clarity” a solo exhibition by emerging contemporary artist Zio Ziegler.
The exhibition will feature never-before-seen large scale figurative paintings from the Marin based artist. Ziegler’s work focuses on movement and self reflection, influenced by a multitude of styles from classicism to cubism and primitivism. Ziegler is recognized for infusing parts of San Francisco with his contagious creative murals, gigantic figures filled with dense black and white patterns. His imaginative boundaries are limitless, and this exhibition will offer a rarely seen view into the subconscious and colorful world of this prolific artist.
The Ian Ross Gallery, which officially opened to the public on March 18, 2013, is an interactive space where artists and the public can interface to learn and grow together by sharing the rich creativity of San Francisco. By forming a creative hub in a special neighborhood buzzing with the energy of a tech/start-up boom, Ian Ross Gallery is a collective of artists and dreamers who aren’t afraid to push the limits of their creative potential. IRGSF showcases rotating exhibits and murals by several up and coming artists, live paintings, and workshops for patrons and the community.
