Celebrate the opening of Bay Area Now 7 with an evening of live music, DJs, and performances by exhibiting BAN7 artists and organizations!
Musicians Adee Roberson, Yetunde Olagbaju, and Julia Litman-Cleper will perform a short set of songs with lyrics entirely penned by Creativity Explored artists, while artist Christina Marie Fong from Creativity Explored’s group exhibition Next Big Things will conduct a portrait session for visitors in her installation.
Marc Kate and Brian Tester, two artists from Adobe Books Backroom Gallery’s group exhibition Everyone’s Place, will individually perform live sets of experimental electronic music.
Drink and dance the rest of the night away with the Bay Area’s premier queer DJ collective Honey Soundsystem, a DJ group created in the spirit of legendary Bay Area dance music crews.
