All That Remains

Secession Art & Design is honored to present All That Remains, featuring original mixed media art by Silvi Alcivar, ArtnwordZ, and Maureen Shields. All three are collectors in their own craft, finding inspiration in things almost lost. Alcivar paints with her typewriter, combining the words with hand-painted images into something vibrant and new. Artnwordz charms you with the wit of vintage dictionary pages that live on with thought-provoking humorous imagery. Shields playfully hand-cuts 1960’s magazines, layering them with decorative painted landscapes that will give you pure joy. A beautiful song plays through the preservation of words, print, and art that takes a new form in this not-to-be-missed collection.
