This december 13th White Walls will host another exciting group show with 12 artists all working on 12″x12″ square pieces just in time for the holidays. The works will be very affordable and just in time for Christmas as a perfect gift for your favorite person. One of the featured artists for this show will be Jeff Gillette with his painting depicting an apocalyptic Disneyland that is in the show along with 11 other originals. With these amazing paintings, Gillette aims to bring the cacophony of filthy debris rising from oceans of garbage comprising an architecture of depravation and necessity to the forefront. What emerges is a living environment of aesthetic wonder, spectacular visuals of space, color, form, and texture. These images, I re-create in the all too-realism of my “slumscape” artwork, in drawings, paintings, sculptures and installations.

Some of the other artists exhibiting alongside Jeff are Chad Hasegawa, Alex Ziv, Carl Cashman and David Soukup, Adam Lister and Tony Papesh. More artists to be announced soon…
