Ever since the “new economy” in San Francisco Bay Area walls have been coming down to make way for apartments to house “techies”. One that recently bit the dust is on Olive and Larkin in the Lower Polk/Tenderloin area. 

We are posting several photos in remembrance. Notice the bird mural in the top right. Those birds above the mural remained several years after the mural was painted over.
